| Job Description:
This is the department manager and head of the World Ministry of Prayer. This person is one of high consciousness and deep personal practice. They oversee all functions of this department and most importantly hold the high consciousness of healing and wholeness for all that occurs within the World Ministry of Prayer. They also serve as the public face and voice for this important ministry to other departments, our covenanted communities and the public.
Educational Requirement:
- Licensed practitioner of Religious Science for 5 years or more
Experience and skills:
- Experience in all aspect of practitioner work
- Strong personal practitioner practice preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Lives from a deep knowing of wholeness
- Is motivated by compassion and truth
- Good at managing people in an office environment
- Understands effective team building
- Is creative and innovative in expanding this ministry
- Has experience in committee and group environment and can effectively represent the World Ministry of Prayer in these environments
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Holds the vision for WMOP
- Inspires and supports the staff in their work
- Interacts with public on behalf of WMOP
- Writes
- Ad copy for SOM Magazine; client letters;
- Direct mail pieces; periodic newsletters and other communications for
- Practitioners; surveys and questionnaires for clients and practitioners;
- Inspirational materials for clients
- Prepares and conducts volunteer trainings, re-trainings and renewals
- Recruits new practitioner volunteers
- Monitors and evaluated telephone and office staff
- Is available as backup for every WMOP position
- Creates and implements new projects and programs for WMOP
- Yearly gift book with SOM Foundation
- pamphlets
- affirmation materials
- Prayer tapes, etc
- Sits on Committee and actively participates in preparation and on grounds
- Develops and supervises Vigil of Prayer
- Facilitates scheduling of private practitioner/client sessions
- Sets up & breaks down the Vigil Room and Administration Bldg. Table
- Fulfills all Home Office management responsibilities and assignments
- Creates and performs all computer queries and tasks associated with direct mailings
