| Job Description:
This leadership position holds the vision and oversees the direction of the Educational programs for United Centers for Spiritual Living.
Educational Requirement:
Hold a current UCSL practitioner License. Ministerial License preferred.
Post graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in education
Experience and skills:
- Experience in leadership/administration in primary, secondary and postsecondary education.
- Experience in Teaching in post graduate institutions
- Skill in leadership and team building; excellent management skills
- Working familiarity with the UCSL Organization Model and the Global Heart Vision
- Commitment to the UCSL Guiding Principles
- Ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of how to create and manage an operating budget
- Experience in curriculum development
- Creative thinker and excellent teacher
- Excellent interpersonal skills; team player
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong personal spiritual practice
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct, oversee and coordinate implementation of the educational priorities of UCSL by holding the long term vision of education in our organization
- Work with curriculum team to coordinate writing, design and production of classes for UCSL
- Work with Holmes Institute to produce and distribute professional education for ministers.
- Work with the Practitioner Core to produce and distribute professional education for practitioners
- Liaison with IYFM to ensure excellence in youth and family curriculum
- Oversee the Educational coordinator and tracking of all records of certificated classes
- Supervise the Holmes Institute Provost
- Serve as the internal and external spokesperson for UCRS Education
- Coordinate all activities related to educational strategic planning
- Serve as a member of the UCRS Education Core
- Lead and coordinate the vision and direction of the Education Council
- Serve as liaison with and to all outside agencies
- Oversee the filing of all reports to outside agencies
- Prepare the education annual budget and monitor monthly revenues and expenses
- Other duties as assigned by the Ecclesiastical Core Coordinator
