| Job Description:
This exciting position stands as the gatekeeper for United Centers for Spiritual Living community membership. Communicating via print, email, listserv, and forums, this position initiates, corresponds with and encourages new communities as they find their place in our organization. This position requires a nurturing and highly-tuned administrative skill set to seed and support the growth and evolution of study groups, teaching chapters, pre-church communities, as well as full-on Spiritual Centers and Churches. Working directly with the GEMS Manager, this position tracks all new works and assists the GEMS Manager in assessing and maintaining richer communication tools to facilitate entry and abidance in United Centers for Spiritual Living. Further, this position works with the GEMS Administrative Assistant, ensuring that all documents are transmitted in a timely manner and that our fledgling communities are fully served. This position plays an integral role in record-keeping and data-base management for the United Centers for Spiritual Living, and anchors the GEMS department in its expanding role of service to our burgeoning communities, domestically and internationally.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- General administrative functions: telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Maintain a database of all new works synced with Raisers’ Edge.
- Establish cordial and effective working relationships with other GEMS and UCSL staff.
- Follow calendar year responsibilities for Study Group Renewals
- Establish, track and maintain communications with all New Works
- Collate and update New Works packets for distribution to appropriate parties
- Establish an amiable and synergistic relationship with Education and Publishing to assure access to education and publication materials for New Works.
- Track Study Group and Teaching Chapter listservs
- Update all forms and documents on a yearly basis and/or as needed
- Maintain all available online documents for New Works and assess their efficacy in facilitating administrative ease
- Cultivate a culture of expansion and growth within the communities and discern when groups are ready for their next steps
- Maintain open channels of communication with GEMS Manager regarding group status and challenges
- Prepare data and documents for quarterly Ecclesiastical Representatives (ER) Meetings for approval of new works.
