Rev. Dr. David Phears is a passionate teacher and spiritual leader, David blends humor and wisdom in presenting his lectures and classes. David has studied many of the world’s religions and settled upon a spiritual belief that includes many philosophies but mostly focuses on practical spiritual tools for everyday living.
As the Community Spiritual Leader in Huntington Beach, David has a vision that includes making a difference on the planet by how we as human beings treat ourselves and others who are different from us.
David is a seasoned personal success coach and conflict resolution mediator who thrives on finding solutions to everyday challenges in simple, effective and compassionate ways.
Co-owner (with his wife Michelle) of PESCO, a non-profit educational services company, their vision is to provide support to existing organizations serving challenged communities in the area of training and education. These qualified organizations simply require financial support anchored in awareness, education and commitment to serve at an even greater level than currently possible.

Rev. Lee has been in the ministry for almost 20 years. She currently serves the Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living as Senior Minister and Spiritual Leader. Rev. Lee inspires the Greater Inland Valley Community through RCCSL’s new Television Ministry and Show called, ‘There is a Way- Mind Matters’. Additionally, she just completed a 4-part CD teaching Album called, The Consciousness of Abundance, which also features Edwene Gaines. Her previously published teaching album is called, Choice and Choicemaking.
Rev. Lee offers fresh perspectives on ancient wisdom teachings. Through her humor and personal insights, listeners find inspiration and guidance for every area of life. Rev. Lee is also an Ecclesiastical Representative with United Centers. |

Rev. Dr. Michelle discovered Religious Science at age 15. Upon walking into the Mile Hi Church of Religious Science in Denver, Colorado, she knew she was “home.”
As an energetic teenager with a never-ending desire to learn more, Michelle started volunteering at that church and eventually joined its administrative staff where she worked for six years. She continued her studies and soon became a Science of Mind Practitioner. In 1991, after receiving her degree from Ernest Holmes College, Michelle became a minister.
Michelle moved forward as an assistant minister at the Huntington Beach Church of Religious Science. She served there for four years in many capacities. In 1995, she moved to Arizona and joined New Vision Center as senior minister.
Her vigorous involvement in her local community is matched by her work on the international committees of our denomination. She has served on The Standing Advisory for Practitioner Policy, United Clergy of Religious Science, The Nomination Core, and the Asilomar Planning Team.
She is Chair of the Core Council for United Centers For Spiritual Living, also an Advisor for the Association of Global New Thought.
In her congregation and in the many churches and organizations she visits each year, she is known as an inspiring teacher and leader who deeply touches her audiences with her humor and profound insights. |

Rev. Shawn is the Minister of Harmony Center for Spiritual Living in Whittier, CA. She is best known for her heart centered & playful approach to life and ministry. Shawn loves being a catalyst for transformation & empowerment and she delights in helping shift happen. Shawn and her wife Becky are helping to create a “community that love is building.” |

Rev. Liesa is the minister of Lakeside Community Church, A Center for Spiritual Living, in Reno, Nevada, where she has joyously served for 19 years; the first 12 of those years as the Youth and Family Minister (she still loves those kids!) and the latter as senior minister. Prior to that, she was the minister in the Rapid City, South Dakota CORS. A third-generation Religious Scientist, she has come full circle—back to the Church in which she grew up. She loves this teaching and lives it fully and deeply. She, her husband Joe, and her congregation have a healthy, thriving, growing Spiritual Center, which celebrated its 45th anniversary this year.

Rev. David Alexander is a life-long student of spiritual principles, having been born and raised in the New Thought (religious science) tradition. Called to the ministry at age thirteen, Rev. David has made the study and application of universal spiritual principles his life devotion. Through his dedicated efforts in Youth Ministry he has been a featured guest lecturer at New Thought churches nationwide since 1996 and received the UCRS Youth Champion Award in 1998. Rev. David became a Licensed Religious Science Practitioner in 1999, received his ministerial license in 2004 and co-founded New Thought Ministries of Oregon in Portland, Oregon following the closing of Living Enrichment Center. He now serves as the Senior Minister of New Thought Ministries of Oregon, which will celebrate its 4th year anniversary in September 2008. Rev. David was independently ordained in 2006, and re-affiliated with United Centers for Spiritual Living in 2007. Rev. David also serves on the Advisory Council for the Association for Global New Thought and on the InterReligious Action Network of Washington County. As one of the youngest and most dynamic ministers in the New Thought movement today, his messages are inspiring, humorous and relevant to today's world. |

Rev. Cynthia James, is a lecturer, teacher and internationally renowned performing artist. She is the author of the newly released book “What Will Set You Free”. Rev. Michael Beckwith describes her book as “The practical guide to living with confidence, creativity and triumph”.
Cynthia has recorded three musical CD’s and four meditation CD’s. She is sought after as a musical artist and speaker by numerous organizations.
She currently serves as an associate minister at Mile Hi Church, one of the largest new thought spiritual centers in the world. |

Janice Deaton
Janice’s life is inspired by the Global Heart Vision of transcending borders, sharing resources, and creating a world that works for everyone. After seventeen years as a successful Federal criminal defense attorney, Janice left her law practice in 2005 to create Corazón Global, a Teaching Chapter in Tijuana, Mexico. Corazón Global brings peace, consciousness and tolerance to a challenging city through its Sunday services and classes. In 2007, Corazón Global hosted a four-day international, bilingual conference in Mexico which featured Don Miguel Ruiz, Rev. Dr. Kathy Hearn, and musicians Jami Lula, Michael Gott, Erika Luckett and many others.
Janice is also the Chair of the International Core for UCSL, and travels around the world teaching our beautiful philosophy. She lives in La Jolla, CA with her husband, Blake, and their fabulous family. |

Rev. Peggy Price is a "born again" Religious Scientist since 1987, and she has experienced greater love, joy, peace, and abundance ever since. In 1996 she graduated from Ernest Holmes College and began her career as assistant minister at the Huntington Beach Church. In 1997 she was called to service as Senior Minister and remained there until 2003. She thought she would "retire" but God laughed. In 2006 she became Senior Minister of the Seal Beach CSL. She has served on the UCRS Vision Core, United Clergy of Religious Science (past President), Asilomar Committees, serving as Chair in 2002, and is currently Chair of the UCSL Professional Standards and Ethics Team. She has won numerous awards and honors for her work in promoting peace through interfaith understanding. |

Joseph Murray has been raised by the principles of religious science. As a member of the Pacific Church of Religious Science, Joe was involved in a number of programs and events including the Colors Program. Then, in 2005 Joe was elected to represent the Southwestern region on the International Youth Council for IYFM. In 2007, Joe graduated from high school and he has just completed his first year of post-secondary education at UC Santa Cruz. He is the eldest sibling of three.
Joe is the incumbent live auctioneer, having served in the role at last summer’s Asilomar retreat; he is exuberant about the wildly exciting potential of this year’s auction.
Joe is currently enrolled in the Roots class with Rev. Guy Williams at the Hilltop CSL in Fallbrook, Ca and plans to begin Practitioner training this fall.
Joe is passionate about sustainable and ecologically benign systems, buildings and products and plans to pursue a career in the same. He is interested in philosophy, politics, fitness, quantum physics, economics, design, sociology, literature, biology and much, much more. |

Rev. Keith Cox is involved in many facets of Religious Science International, with a primary focus on the youth seminars and their empowerment. He first became involved with the teen movement when he attended the RSWE camp in 2000. He received his minister’s license in 2002 was ordained in 2007 and also received the Youth Campion Award that same year. In 2004 he became the Chair person of Youth and Young Adults Seminars for RSI. The greatest gift that Keith has brought to the teen movement is a greater world view. With Keith’s leadership, the youth seminars program has embarked on a bold initiative to support the building of schools in Malawi, Africa. In 2007, Keith and a group of representatives from the teen movement traveled to Malawi to experience the process of building the schools and to interact with the people whose lives will be changed because of this effort. Now again, in June of 2008, Keith and a second delegation from the youth seminars program, along with representatives from United Centers for Spiritual Living and Unity Christian Church traveled to the school sites to participate in building more schools. To date, eight schools have been funded, and we are not done yet! Keith is excited about the integration and believes it can be done with the teens leading the way. |

Rev. Sandy Moore
Rev. Sandy’s life philosophy of embracing her experiences with an openness and willingness to learn and grow was put to the test in 1992, when her fifteen-year-old daughter, Tara, died in an automobile accident. Suddenly, her life took on a new meaning and direction. Sandy gained a greater understanding of life, the universe and how it all works as she grieved and healed from this tragedy. “Miraculous” events surrounding her daughter’s life and tragic death grew into an inspirational story that received nationwide attention. In honor of their beloved child, Sandy and Kirk opened a specialty shop, Tara’s Angels, in San Juan Capistrano.
Sandy was ordained as minister of the Center for Spiritual Living-Orange County, formerly the Center for Universal Truth, a Religious Science center founded with her husband, Rev. Kirk Moore, in 1999. Every Sunday she delivers a powerful, uplifting and inspirational message that supports many individuals on their path through life. |

Rev. Dr. Marilyn Leo, Love + Truth = Freedom and Peace
Marilyn has been a part of Religious Science since childhood. Her father, Reginald Armor was a well known figure in the New Thought Movement and the Armor family was very close with Ernest and Hazel Holmes. Marilyn has served on many committees and received several special recognitions including the “Living Treasure Award” given by her ministerial colleagues.
At the present time, though retired from the usual ministerial duties, she serves Religious Science as a volunteer in many capacities including the Religious Science Archives,. She is Treasurer of the Wisdom Council (retired ministers) and is secretary of the Dr. John Hefferlin and Marian Hefferlin Foundation, a non-profit religious corporation supporting the teachings of Ernest Holmes.
She has contributed the manuscript She for That Was Ernest written by her father, Dr. Reginald Armor. She compiled and edited Love and Law published by Tarcher/Putnam in 2001. She also wrote the foreword for John Waterhouse’s book Five Steps To Freedom. She has most recently written a book about the personal life of Ernest and Hazel Holmes: In His Company – Ernest Holmes Remembered. |

Reverend Ron Fox is the senior minister of the Spiritual Enrichment Center located in Peoria, Arizona. He is a gifted speaker and a published writer. His inspirational style is coupled with a keen sense of humor, making him a favorite with audiences everywhere. He has a passion for human development and speaks on his avid belief in the concept of lifelong learning. Ron and his wife Becky, who is an artist, live in Avondale, Arizona.
